Cafe Giulia, Chippendale

You might just drive on past this place, on Abercrombie St in Chippendale - but if you are out&about in this spot, see a parking spot and need a coffee or something to eat, it's worth stopping. I end up there sometimes - the other day it was a late-ish lunchtime stop with my son whilst out running errands.

Alone, I would sit at the low front bench at the window and watch the world, or on a stool at the counter - but this time it was one of the booths further in with a window out. There's a huge blackboard menu right across the wall - makes it hard to choose, therefore something should appeal no matter the time of day (I couldn't resist the french toast, poached pear, marscapone & maple syrup).
